A Haven did a market research of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. We found that there was a large gap in grief services for families west of Radnor, PA.

We decided to fill in the gap and plant A Haven in Chester County.

1 in 7 children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they reach 20 years old.

This statistic does not include a grandparent, close relative or friend. Therefore, grief support is needed for families, schools and communities. Our desire is to be a resource to our community. The reality is, every person that experiences life will experience death and grief.

Grief affects each one of us. Therefore, we are committed to walk along side families and communities when it affects them.

The dream of A Haven was birthed in Dublin, Ireland in 2010. Separately both Michelle Noble and Liz Dreibelbis supported grieving children and families. A mutual friend connected Michelle and Liz. After meeting for coffee for over a year, they decided to partner and build the dream together.
